Orthoroks may have opened its doors in 2020 but its inception was over a decade ago when Dr. Dutta started practicing and made the promise to deliver a rockstar smile for every patient that she ever treats. Orthoroks offers several orthodontic treatments for kids, teens and adults including ceramic braces, clear aligners/Invisalign, traditional metal braces, inbrace, and surgical ortho treatments.
Patients come to an orthodontist seeking a smile that gives them pleasing esthetics along with a healthy smile – the goal of the team at Orthoroks is to listen and make a plan that suits each patients’ needs both financially and modality wise. Our orthodontic office is located in the Hunt Valley Towne Centre. New patients are welcome!

They got me set with clear aligners and were so kind and accommodating to me especially while pregnant! 🩷
This office is truly exceptional. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable. Everyone was so welcoming and made me feel at ease right away. The level of care and attention to detail really stood out. You can tell they truly care about their patients. They explained everything clearly, and I felt genuinely cared for throughout my visit with professionalism and a smile. They took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions without rushing me or my daughter. It’s rare to find a place that combines professionalism with such genuine care. It’s clear they take pride in providing high-quality care. The office is always spotless and very well-maintained. I highly recommend them!
OrthoRoks was absolutely amazing! They accommodated my daughter in a unique situation. They could not have been any more kind, professional, and helpful! Jasmine at the front desk was an absolute delight to work with - she went above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience! 😁 Highly recommend OrthoRoks to anyone!!!
Dr. Dutta and her entire team at Orthoroks have been absolutely wonderful throughout my son’s orthodontic journey. He just got his braces off and his smile looks amazing! The staff was always kind, patient, and professional, making every visit a positive experience. During treatment, my son unfortunately broke his front tooth (sports related) while he still had braces on. Dr. Dutta was incredibly supportive and took the time to carefully monitor the healing process while ensuring his orthodontic treatment stayed on track. Her attention to detail and genuine care truly stood out. We are so grateful for the excellent care and highly recommend Dr. Dutta and her team at Orthoroks to anyone looking for an outstanding orthodontist.
Airam is so great. I love how gentle she is when I get my bands changed
Just got my aligners on today, but so far my experience with Orthorox has been 10/10! I've spoken with Abby, Jasmine, Airielle, and Dr. Dutta and they are all lovely. I went to a number of different orthodontists for quotes when I was shopping around and I was most impressed with Dr. Dutta for being so full of life and having even more hopes and dreams for my teeth than I did! In the best way, she helped me see the vision for my teeth in the future and really cared about the little things I hadn't thought of before. Today, Airi took a lot of care to explain everything to me before/as it was happening and was so funny and kind. Also a lot of the employees (and Dr. Dutta herself!) have gotten Ortho work in their 20s as well and it was so great to have some real feedback on how worth it was for them and some life hacks. Looking forward to working with them for the next 18-24 months! Lol A super great team.
Great orthodontist with amazing staff that are great with kids - clean too!
Everyone here is so friendly and helpful!! I get super nervous about dental work and everyone here has made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. Also, my teeth look amazing!! I’m so happy with the results!
I love all of my experiences with Orthoroks, but I had an amazing experience with Airam! She is so easy to talk to and very nice.
I had braces 10 years ago again and I was nervous about getting braces again. I was so wrong!!! The staff were so nice and talked me through everything. I was not sore or in any pain when I left the office. I want to thank the whole team for their amazing customer service. IF YOU ARE AFARID …. Fear NOT!!!! THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE😊😊😊😊
Dr. Dutta and her team are outstanding. At our first consultation we discussed various approaches and decided to wait about a year to begin treatment. When we returned for our second evaluation, a clear treatment plan that would take about a year to expand my son's jaw to make room for teeth that had not come in yet. Well, they more than met our expectations. The front desk team if friendly and helpful. The clinical team is attentive to detail and made sure he was comfortable. Dr. Dutta is approachable, honest, and caring. She explains everything clearly to adults and children. And, the office is beautiful with a comfortable waiting room. There is even a counter if you want to work during longer appointments. Honestly, I could not have expected the process to go more smoothly. I would highly recommend Orthoroks Orthodontics to anyone considering braces for these children!
Dr. Dutta is incredible. She is super knowledgeable and so kind. We had to pivot from our original orthodontic journey. So grateful we found her!

Veneers can be used to improve any of the following characteristics of your teeth:
There are some situations in which veneers would be inappropriate. For example, if you have significantly misaligned teeth or a large gap, orthodontics might be a more appropriate solution than veneers. And if you have lost a lot of tooth structure from decay or trauma (or a particularly severe grinding habit), it might be better to restore your teeth with porcelain crowns that cover the entire tooth.
The first step in creating a new smile with porcelain veneers is to communicate exactly what you don’t like about your smile as it is now. It’s a great idea to bring in pictures of smiles you do like, as a starting point for discussion. It’s possible to see how veneers would look on your teeth in one of several ways. A model of your teeth can be created over which wax “veneers” can be placed; sometimes acrylic (plastic) or tooth-colored filling material can be placed directly onto your teeth to demonstrate the effect veneers would have on them.
Once the plan has been agreed upon, your teeth will be prepared by removing a small amount of enamel, if this step is necessary. Molds of your teeth will be taken and used by a skilled dental laboratory to create your veneers, and you will receive a temporary set of veneers to wear during the few weeks it will take to create your permanent veneers. When the veneers come back from the lab, they will be cemented onto your teeth.
Just like the teeth nature gave you, teeth restored with veneers need gentle brushing and flossing every day. This will remove dental plaque and ensure good gum tissue health around the veneers. Regular checkups at the dental office will remain as important as always to your oral and general health. And keep in mind that as tough as veneers are, they may not be able to withstand forces that come from using your teeth as tools (to open packages, for example) or biting into very hard foods like candy apples — which isn’t good for your natural teeth, either! And if you grind or clench your teeth at night, you might be advised to get a custom-made nightguard to protect your veneers — and your investment.
Bridges are sometimes referred to as fixed partial dentures, because they are semi-permanent and are bonded to existing teeth or implants. There are several types of fixed dental bridges (cannot be removed), including conventional fixed bridges, cantilever bridges and resin-bonded bridges. Unlike a removable bridge, which you can take out and clean, your dentist can only remove a fixed bridge.
Porcelain, gold alloys or combinations of materials are usually used to make bridge appliances.
Appliances called implant bridges are attached to an area below the gum tissue, or the bone.
Crowns are also used to attach bridges, cover implants, prevent a cracked tooth from becoming worse, or an existing filling is in jeopardy of becoming loose or dislocated. Crowns also serve an aesthetic use, and are applied when a discolored or stained tooth needs to be restored to its natural appearance.
Procedures
A tooth must usually be reduced in size to accommodate a crown. An impression is then made from the existing tooth to create a custom-designed crown. The impression is sent to a special lab, which manufactures a custom-designed crown. In some cases, a temporary crown is applied until the permanent crown is ready. Permanent crowns are cemented in place.
Crowns are sometimes confused with veneers, but they are quite different. Veneers are typically applied only to relatively small areas.
Caring For Your Crowns
With proper care, a good quality crown could last up to eight years or longer. It is very important to floss in the area of the crown to avoid excess plaque or collection of debris around the restoration.
Certain behaviors such as jaw clenching or bruxism (teeth grinding) significantly shorten the life of a crown. Moreover, eating brittle foods, ice or hard candy can compromise the adhesion of the crown, or even damage the crown.
Root canal therapy usually entails one to three visits. During the first visit, a small hole is drilled through the top of the tooth and into the inner chamber. Diseased tissue is removed, the inner chamber cleansed and disinfected, and the tiny canals reshaped. The cleansed chamber and canals are filled with an elastic material and medication designed to prevent infection. If necessary, the drilled hole is temporarily filled until a permanent seal is made with a crown.
Most patients who have root canal experience little or no discomfort or pain, and enjoy a restored tooth that can last almost as long as its healthy original.
The aligners are made through a combination of our expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology.
